PESHAWAR: Deputy Chief Manager Peshawar Kamran Khan of State Bank of Pakistan met with President Woman Chamber of Commerce and Industries Miss Nazihat Rauf and Vice-President Rukhsana Nadar on Monday in Peshawar.
The President of WCCI Peshawar discussed issues with him, particularly of woman’s entrepreneurship in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which also includes extending loans to them at low interest rate through State Bank of Pakistan’s Refinance Scheme and Credit Guarantee Scheme for woman’s enterprises.
Deputy Chief Manager of State Bank of Pakistan said loans are being given to women of the province up to Rs1.5million at five percent interest rate which can be taken from any branch of the six commercial banks. Kamran Khan added that the loan taken will be returnable within five years of time.
He said seminars will be arranged for women interested to do business in the province and added that more opportunities will be provided to the women in near future.
The Woman Chamber of Commerce and Industry President lauded the Deputy Manager of the State Bank of Pakistan and termed these steps basics for facilitation of women in the field of business.
