KIEV: Ukrainian soybean exports have been dwindling for a third month in a row. Soybean exports in the first six months of the season hit a ten-year high for this period. A total 1993.1 KMT of soybeans were exported in September-February 2017/18, i.e. 4.9% more than at the same time in MY 2016/17 (1899.3 KMT). 340.9 KMT was supplied to foreign markets in February 2018.
The current season continues witnessing an increase in Ukrainian soybean shipments to European countries. So, 636.7 KMT of soybeans were shipped to the European Union during the first six months of MY 2017/18, i.e. 3% more than for the entire 2016/17 marketing year.
