KIEV: Ukrainian operator Datagroup announced that revenue in 2014 rose to UAH 715.5 million from UAH 628.4 million a year earlier. EBITDA grew from UAH 244.2 million to UAH 253.3 million.
The company incurred a net loss of UAH 51.1 million, compared with a net profit of UAH 36.1 million in 2013, because of the fall in the local currency, and the general economic situation in Ukraine.
The operator raised its data transmission market share from 42 percent to 46.5 percent. In the B2O segment, its share grew from 28 percent to 34 percent and in the satellite connection segment, it rose from 86 percent to 88 percent.
The household subscribers base amounted to 320,000, including 220,000 internet and pay-TV users and 100,000 telephony subscribers. ARPU remained unchanged at UAH 65.
