PESHAWAR: The Customs officials at the Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar arrested a Saudi bound passenger and recovered two kilogram of ice drug from his possession.
The passenger, identified as Jalal Gul of Hangu, was going to Saudi Arabia via Dubai in flight EK-637. After recovery of the drugs from his luggage, he was arrested from the airport.
The customs official said the ice drug was detected during general checking which was concealed in his bag with other articles. It was stated that two kg ice drug is worth Rs20million in the international market.
The alleged drug smuggler was taken into custody and a case registered against him by the customs officials which will be presented before the court for further interrogation.
