ANKARA: Turkish Stream natural gas pipeline have been obtained, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said Monday, adding that the commissioning of the pipeline is planned before December 30, 2019. Gas supplied via the first line is meant for Turkish consumers, while (gas supplied – TASS) via the second line (will be delivered) to the Turkish-EU border where a hub is planned to be constructed. The commissioning of both lines of the gas pipeline is expected before December 30, 2019,” he said.
According to Ushakov, most permits required for the project’s implementation have been obtained as per schedule.
The Turkish Stream project envisages the construction of a gas pipeline across the Black Sea to Turkey’s European part and further on to the border with Greece.
