NEW DELHI: Telenor India today said its revenue in Q3 2016 was $186.89 million or NOK1,545 million against NOK 1,411 million in Q3 2015. Subscriber base of Telenor India grew to 45 million (+9 percent). Telenor India achieved 10 percent organic growth in subscription and traffic revenues.
EBITDA margin of Telenor India was 9 percent, supported by higher revenue growth and cost focus. Telenor India did not participate in spectrum auction in October 2016.Telenor India is facing impairment loss of NOK 4.1 billion following assessment of fair value, and impairment of Q3 Capex (capital expenditure). The telecom network operator said assessment of fair value triggered NOK 4.0 billion impairment.
