LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has transferred the services of the special judge of Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling, Amir Mohammad Khan, from Lahore to Sahiwal.
According to a notification issued by the Registrar, the LHC has transferred the services of 19 district and sessions judges from various districts of the Punjab, including the special judge of Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling Ameer Muhammad Khan from Lahore to Sahiwal.
While performing his duties as special judge of Customs, Taxations and Anti Smuggling court Amir Muhammad Khan has decided very important cases. He also decided many cases which were pending in the special court despite passage of lot of time. Special judge will relinquish his present charge from Lahore as from Lahore and will join as district and session judge Sahiwal very soon.
It is also necessary to mention here that Lahore High Court recently transferred the services 183 additional session judges to 36 districts of Punjab.
