RAWALPINDI: Appreciating the role of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) for promoting bilateral trade relations, Ambassador of Somalia to Pakistan, Khadija Mohamed Almakhzoumi said Somalia wants to enhance trade relations with Pakistan.
Speaking here on Thursday during her visit to RCCI, she urged the business community of both the countries to boost the existing volume of trade between the two countries.
The Envoy said, “we want to boost trade relations, especially in the field of, live stock, fisheries, agriculture, construction, real estate and pharmaceutical.”
The Ambassador assured full support and cooperation for boosting bilateral trade and called for frequent exchange of trade delegations. Earlier, President RCCI, Zahid Latif Khan, in his welcome address invited Somalian Envoy to participate in upcoming RCCI’s All
Pakistan Women Chambers President’s Summit (APWCPS) on December 18-19. The RCCI chief also gave an overview of current activities and upcoming events. Later, a memento was presented to Khadija Mohamed.
