While Polish economy grew grew 4.8 percent in 2017, and it is expected to grow over 5 percent this year, economists quoted by the daily forecast that the growth might slow down to 3.8 percent in 2019.
The daily added that one of the reasons behind the slowdown is that Poland’s main trade partner, the European Union “is loosing its momentum,” which could soon influence Polish economy.
Experts, quoted by the daily also said the country’s economy could suffer from labour shortage.
In its forecast for 2019, the Rzeczpospolita daily also said, the average salary in Poland is forecasted to grow by up to 7.1 percent.
