SINGAPORE: Total trade in Singapore maintained its robust performance in the month of March, growing 18.9% YoY.
According to the latest figures from IE Singapore, total trade followed a 14.3% growth in February. It has been on the rise since November, when it posted a 9.1% growth.
Trade value for the said month sat at $80.3b, up from the previous month’s $78.6b. Total exports were valued at $43.2b while total imports stood at $37.1b.
On a monthly seasonally adjusted basis, overall trade rose 2.1%, compared to a 4.2% slump in the previous month.
