KARACHI: The performance of the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) regarding tax collection improved during the first 20 days of February.
Talking to Customs Today, Advisor of Tax Policy Mushtaq Kazmi said that increased revenue was attributed to better collection efforts. He said that the department would continue its efforts to generate more and more revenue in future.
As per details, Sindh Revenue Board has managed to collect Rs 4.93 billion tax in first twenty days of February, which is higher as compare to collection of previous months. The taxpayers have filed their tax returns earlier rather than waiting for the last dates of the month. The SRB authorities are quite optimistic to generate more revenue in the remaining ten days of the current month.
