SINGAPORE: As the league of legends community expands and grows around the world, so too do our influences and inspirations for the game. We thought it would be fun to give you guys a very early peak at one of the champions we’re working on while he’s still in the early stages.
According to the description of the video above, Terror is rising from beneath the sand of Shurima:
The Frozen Watchers that previously inhabited the Freljord were creatures of the void, and Lissandra is preparing for them to return shortly. Shurima, once a great city, was corrupted by the Void after their arrival. Shurima was destroyed by other tribes of Runeterra, as well as other areas such as Uristan to contain the Void. Nasus was later brought to the world to protect Valoran, and he sees the largest threat as the Void. Nasus knows that a large invasion will occur soon with the Void, and has relocated to Shurima in an attempt to study the inactive rift that Sivir and Cassiopeia have located.
According to the description of the video above, Terror is elevating from beneath the sand of Shurima:
“Traders whisper stories of a beast below Shurima’s sands. They verbally express she stalks the caravans that dare cross her domain.
They verbalize she hunts those that run, and kills those that fight. But what if the stories aren’t simple stories? What if they’re true?”
The teaser above is brief and suggests that an incipient void creature will anon join the ranks. However, the description doesn’t mention her affiliation with Void.
The last champion to be relinquished was a Kalista, a Marksman. Since this is just a teaser video, we don’t ken much about this incipient champion at the moment. However, more news will surely pop-up in the coming weeks.
The footage “The Terror Beneath”, introduces her impeccably. You can optically discern the creature hunting down a caravan of merchants, elevating from beneath the sands and engendering havoc.
If I am not erroneous, this is the first time we are optically discerning Shurima natives. I mean the civilian population, not the champions.
