KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) adjourned the hearing of over 50 cases related to customs and income tax due to boycott of lawyers on the call of Pakistan Bar Council against suicide blast in Peshawar’s Hayatabad area.
Cases were fixed for hearing, however before the hearing, judges were informed that Pakistan Bar Council and other legal bodies have announced black day against suicide blast in Peshawar’s Hayatabad, so courts were requested to postpone the hearing of these cases.
It needs to be pertained here that on Wednesday Civil Judge Asif Jadoon and three female judges of the lower judiciary were travelling in an official car in Hayatabad’s Phase-5 area when an attacker on a motorcycle struck the front of the vehicle and exploded killing driver and injuring four judges.
