KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has issued notices to Pakistan Customs and others in a number of identical petitions pertaining to regulatory duty and adjourned hearing till March 13.
A SHC’s division bench heard a petition filed by All Pakistan Tiles Association and Johnson Trading.
A lawyer from Franklin Law Associates and Ms Dil Khuram Shaheen advocate for the petitioners challenged the imposition of regulatory duty. They pointed out that the bench has decided a number of cases of identical nature through its judgement dated February 7. They prayed for implementation of the said judgement also in these petitions.
