Saudi Customs seizes 1.2 million narcotic pills

SAUDI ARABIA: At least 1.2 million narcotic pills have been confiscated by Saudi Custom officials at Al-Haditha checkpoint, which were being smuggled into the country, said Ibrahim al-Eneizi, a customs director.

The officers became suspicious of a driver and carried out a thorough search of his vehicle.

The pills were stashed inside different parts of the smuggler’s car, including the doors and seats.
