Saudi customs officers seize 1.2 million narcotic pills

RIYADH:  Customs officers in Saudi Arabia’s al-Haditha checkpoint foiled an attempt to smuggle 1.2 million narcotic pills into the country, customs director Ibrahim al-Eneizi said.

The officers became suspicious of a driver and carried out a thorough search of his vehicle.

The pills were stashed inside different parts of the smuggler’s car, including the doors and seats.
