RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended seafood imports from Myanmar, as well as Bangladesh, India and Vietnam, reports the citing the country’s fisheries federation.
However, Daw Toe Nandar Tin, vice president of the Myanmar Fisheries Federation, questioned the decision, as the issue seems to be with Vietnam.
A delegation from several regulators from Saudi Arabia found that only nine facilities met the national hygiene requirements after a recent tour.
