MOSCOW: Russia, a major global wheat exporter, had harvested 37.4 million tonnes of grain with an average yield of 4.29 tonnes per hectare from 18 percent of the total area as of July 28, Agriculture Ministry data showed on Monday. That was down from the 41.4 million tonnes harvested with an average yield of 3.89 tonnes by the same date a year earlier, the ministry said.
