BEIJING: Russia shipped 5.22 million tonnes of crude oil, or 1.27 million barrels per day (bpd), to China in June, up 27 percent from a year go, data from Chinese customs showed on Monday. Russia was China’s top oil supplier for the fourth month in a row, the data showed.
June shipments from No. 2 monthly supplier Angola rose 10.6 percent from a year ago to 1 million bpd, while Saudi Arabia’s crude exports to China fell by 15.8 percent to 936,607 bpd. Shipments from Iraq surged 47 percent compared with a year ago to 834,788 bpd, while supplies from Brazil jumped 118 percent to 689,969 bpd.
