KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office III (RTO-III) has collected Rs 85.502 billion tax in January for the fiscal year 2015-16.
Talking to Customs Today, Additional Commissioner RTO-III Mustafa Khanzada said that RTO-III has recovered Rs 83.401 billion under the head of income tax and Rs 1.902 billion as sales tax, while the RTO-III recovered Rs 199 million as federal excise duty.
He further stated that Rs 86.802 billion tax was recovered in December 2015, including Rs 84.102 billion of income tax, Rs 2.498 billion of sales tax and Rs 202 million as federal excise duty.
He said that we are confident to achieve the target set by FBR headquarter and we are optimistic that the tax collection will rise in the current month.
