LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II), has imposed Rs 89.39 million income tax on Gourmet Foods after audit.
The Federal Board of Revenue imposed tax on Gourmet Food after completion of audit report in which some ambiguities were found in the accounts statements of the company.
According to FBR sources, Federal Board of Revenue ordered Regional Tax Office-II to conduct audit of accounts statement submitted by Gourmet Foods. During audit process some irregularities were found in the statements. The RTO authorities sends report to FBR and consequently Rs 8,93,96000 income tax is imposed on Gourmet Food.
