LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office- II of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has arranged a seminar in Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to educate traders on Sales Tax Real-Time Invoice Verification System (STRIVe).
According to the details, the RTO-II conducted this seminar with the collaboration of LCCI. Prominent trade representatives and traders belonging to all parts of Punjab participated in this seminar.
Federal Board of Revenue official Raza Ishfaq having the expertise on Sales Tax Real-Time Invoice Verification System (STRIVe) educate the taxpayers about the new software on sales tax.
Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) Khawaja Adnan Zaheer specially brief the taxpayers on the Sales Tax Real-Time Invoice Verification System (STRIVe) and also apprise them about the benefits of the new software.
After briefing from the officials of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) the question answer session has started in which sales taxpayers asked many question on the Sales Tax Real-Time Invoice Verification System (STRIVe) from the officials.
FBR officers also educate taxpayers regarding the amendments in the sales tax laws.
This was the first detailed briefing arranged by Regional Tax Office –II (RTO-II) for the sales taxpayers. Before this, Regional tax office-II has arranged many awareness schemes for the taxpayers.
During the seminar some traders told Customs Today that they will cooperate with Federal Board of Revenue on Sales Tax Real-Time Invoice Verification System (STRIVe) for the payment of sales tax.
Prominent among those who attended the seminar includes Dr. Sarmad Qurashi Commissioner Zone-I, Capt (r) Jahangir Ahmed Commissioner Zone-II, Yasir Pirzada Commissioner Zone-III, Mujtaba Bhatti Commissioner Zone-IV, Sajjad Tasleem Commissioner –V and other offices participated. The senior members of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry also participated in the seminar.
It is pertinent to mention here that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) want to facilitate the taxpayers, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has introduced new version of Sales Tax Real-Time Invoice Verification System (STRIVe) for fiscal year 2016-17.
