FAISALABAD: The government has released Rs100 million for construction of underpass near Kashmir bridge on canal bank road.
A spokesman for Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) said here Saturday that the project would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs1.28 billion and the government has initially released Rs100 million for starting work on it.
He said that two underpasses and four slip roads would be constructed on eastern and western sides of Kashmir bridge, for which the Engineering Department has completed process of pre-qualification. He said that tenders for the project would be issued on April 5 after which physical work would commence and the project would be completed in 18 months, he added.
