Risk to public life: Dasti demands for early rehab of Head Muhammadwala

MULTAN: Member of National Assembly Jamshed Khan Dasti staged a sit-in outside Commissioner Office against delay in repair of Head Muhammadwala approach road here on Tuesday. He was accompanied by dozens of his supporters, who chanted slogans against Multan administration and government. Talking to the journalists on this occasion, the independent MP said that the government put the lives of thousands of citizens in danger as they were forced to cross River Chenab on boats because of delay in restoration of the said approach road. Jamshed Khan Dasti said that recent flood had devastated roads and other infrastructure in Multan as well as Muzaffargarh districts. He expressed his surprise on the mysterious silence of elected representatives of this area and said that they should have to raise voice for the cause of masses but he had to come to Multan to protest on the apathetic attitude of Multan administration. He warned that the government and Multan administration would be responsible for any incident or life loss if any boat capsized in the river, adding that he would get murder case registered against the rulers.
