KARACHI: Quetta Model Customs Collectorate has started crackdown against non-duty paid vehicles and impounded 38 vehicles during the crackdown.
Customs official told Customs today that the department has impounded 38 vehicles during November, December and first two-week of January. In the impounded vehicles included luxury cars, jeeps and others vehicles.
As per the details 25 vehicles were impounded in November, 11 in December while two vehicles were impounded during the last two-week of January. Deputy Collector Aman Ullah conduct operations at vehicles show rooms in different areas of the city. The department started crackdown during the month of September and obtained fruitful results, therefore department decided to continue this operation during this month. The department started operation with the cooperation of frontier courts and police.
The teams conducted various raids at show rooms in the area of Jinnah Town, Shebaz Town and surrounding area of the air port and impounded non-duty paid vehicles.
