DOHA: Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani yesterday met the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay Gustavo Leite and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides signed an agreement on mutual promotion and protection of investments between Qatar and Paraguay.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Economy and Commerce and the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay.
The two sides also reviewed the bilateral relations and aspects of co-operation, mainly in the fields of economy, trade and investment, and ways of developing them.
The agreement aims to create a good investment climate between the two countries and to promote and protect those investments.
Qatar and Paraguay signed a number of economic and trade agreements such as the economic, commercial and technical co-operation agreement, signed in 2010.
