KARACHI: The Preventive Service Officers Association has revealed its agenda for upcoming Common Pool Funds (CPF) Committee meeting, here the other day.
As per details, the agenda contains 13 demands including medical treatment in various hospitals for Class-IV and field officers of MCC-Preventive, payment of medical bills to all employees on priority basis, health insurance policy for all employees of MCC-Preventive and others.
Moreover, the Association demanded necessary steps for enhancement of CPF income through various steps like launching CPT container Terminal, bonded warehouses, recovery of houses and rent from the occupants of CPF houses on market rate, recovery of loan of Rs 4.5 million for Customs Public School Lahore, circulate of income statement of CPF accounts and details of all incurring expenditure.
Furthermore, it demanded funeral grant Rs1, 00,000 for deceased employees of Custom House, to regularize monthly stipend of the deceased employees, supply of uniform to all from Grade I to Grade 16 uniform employees.
The Association also demanded increase in marriage/wedding grant up to Rs50, 000 for the daughters of each employee, grant for higher education of employees’ children, financial grant for Customs Public School for rehabilitation and uprising standards and payment of salaries for CPF for the teaching staff of Customs Public School.
The Preventive Service Officers Association hoped that the Chairman and Co-Chairman of CPF Committee will accept those demands in upcoming meeting.
