WARSAW: Retail sales in Poland rose 21.3 percent in December compared to a month earlier, according to the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS). Compared with the same month a year earlier, retail sales were up by 6.4 percent. Year on year the most significant increase was in the retail sale of food, beverages and tabacco.
