Polish gov’t approves plan to cut CIT for small business

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that the 9 percent rate would be one of the lowest in Europe.

The move follows the government’s previous reduction of corporate income tax for small businesses from 19 percent to 15 percent.

Poland’s ruling conservatives have promised a slew of measures to make life easier for the country’s businesspeople.

On Tuesday the government approved a budget for 2019. It must now be passed by parliament, where Morawiecki’s governing Law and Justice party has a majority.
