WARSAW: The Polish economy grew 4.0 percent year on year in the first quarter, the Central Statistical Office said.
GDP rose 2.5 percent in the final quarter of last year.
In a flash estimate earlier this month, the statistical office said the Polish economy grew 4.0 percent in real terms year on year in the first quarter.
According to the office, investment in the first three months of 2017 fell 0.4 percent year on year, while domestic demand increased 4.1 percent.
Economists surveyed by the PAP news agency had expected investment to grow 1.8 percent, and domestic demand to increase 3.8 percent.
