LAHORE: The PIAF-Founders Alliance on Monday made a clean sweep by winning all the seven seats of the LCCI Corporate Class for the year 2016-17. The newly elected body has pledged to resolve tax, customs and other issues and will work for the business community with full zeal and zest.
PIAF-Founder Alliance top leadership, after winning the corporate class election, told Customs Today that PIAF-Founder Alliance has been serving the business class for the last three years and their success is a testimony of the business community’s trust in the alliance.
PIAF Founder Alliance’s Muhammad Ali Mian told Customs Today that he was grateful to the Almighty Allah that the Alliance made a clean sweep and the victory in this regard is the fruit of the honest efforts of the alliance for the resolutions of the business community’s longstanding issues including customs, taxes and others.
Abdul Basit, the nominated LCCI president said that after coming in power he will do his utmost to serve the business community and go to every extent to resolves their issues.
Alliance’s Khawaja Khawar Rasheed said that the PIAF-Founder Alliance has been serving the community and resolving its issue and due to the reason the alliance has never have to face the defeat during the last 13 years.
Abdul Basit has been nominated as the upcoming president of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)and the community will further be able to resolve their issues at their doorsteps, he said added.
Nasir Saeed, the outgoing vice president who has a number of achievements in his credit during his time in office, said that he served the community and did everything he could possibly do for their comfort.
He added that he was thankful to the Almighty Allah that he and his team made it possible to conduct the fair, free and peaceful election and enabled the new body to work for the betterment of the businessmen, importers and exporters.
Waqar Mian, former LCCI executive member, told Customs Today that PIAF-Founder Alliance has introduced a very dynamic team of businessmen who would put their all-out efforts to resolve business community issues.
