A Saudi customs officer made international headlines after a photograph of him checking the passport of famous Juventus footballer Cristiano Ronaldo went viral.
The photo that was posted on several social media websites showed Saudi sergeant Mushabb Al-Ahmari as he was scrutinised the passport of the Juventus player at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
The Portuguese player arrived with his team in Saudi Arabia to take on arch-rivals Milan AC in the Italian Supercup.
The 2019 edition of the Supercoppa Italiana matchup will be played tonight at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in the City of Jeddah.
A customs source from the King Abdulaziz International Airport said that the sergeant Mushabb Al-Ahmari was complying the administrative routine regulations.
