PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Dry Port generated Rs1109.50million of All Duties and Taxes during the initial two months (1st July to 31 August) Financial Year (FY) 2017-18.
According to details given by the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar that performance of the collectorate has been excellent during above said period. The sources told CT that the dry port earned Rs331.00million as Customs Duty (CD) while it did Rs5.29million of miscellaneous duties and taxes and surcharges and the dry port collected Rs91.9million as Redemption Duty (RD) on Imports.
During above said period, the dry port Peshawar generated Rs421.98million of Sales Tax (ST) whereas it did Rs66.36million of ST VM on Imports. The dry port Peshawar received Rs186.0million as Additional Income Tax (AIT) and it did Rs2.71million of Federal Excise Duty (FED) on Imports of 2.50% while, during initial two months of FY17-18, the dry port collected Rs4.20million as FED on Imports of per 01 kilogram.
