ISLAMABAD: The Peshawar Dry Port collected total Duty Taxes valued Rs4607.21million during the initial eight months of Financial Year 2016-17. The dry port generated highest total Duty Taxes of Rs721.65million during the month of February FY2016-17.
According to Fazle Samad, Additional Deputy Collector MCC Islamabad, the performance of the Peshawar Dry Port has been excellent during eight month (July to February) FY2016-17. During said period, the dry port collected Rs1786.71million total Customs Duty (CD) whereas it did Rs1752.52million total Sales Tax (ST) and it received Rs758.95million total Additional Income Tax. During eight months of current financial year, the dry port earned Rs26.44million Federal Excise Duty on Imports.
During said period, the dry port collected Rs272.91million Customs Duty (CD) whereas it did Rs276.91million Sales Tax (ST). During said period, the dry port generated Rs124.01million Additional Income Tax (AIT) and it collected Rs1.77million Federal Excise Duty on imports (FEDI).
During the month of January, the dry port got Rs644.24million All Duty Taxes whereas the dry port did Rs638.89million during the month of December. During the month of November, the dry port Peshawar collected Rs604.33million all taxes.
During the month of October FY2016-17, the dry port Peshawar received Rs491.48million all duty taxes whereas the dry port did Rs450.17million under the same head. During the month of September, the dry port generated Rs618.40million total duty taxes. During the month of August, the dry port collected Rs438.05million all duty taxes.
