PESHAWAR: Collectorate of Customs collected Rs1326.83 million in April 2019 surpassing the previous Rs1190.38 million targets of 2018 with difference of Rs136.45 million.
As per statistics, under head of customs duty the Collectorate collected Rs462.88 million in April 2019 against Rs412.24 million of April 2018, with a difference of Rs50.64 million or +12.28 percent.
Under head of sale tax on import, the House collected Rs420.44 million in April 2019 against Rs371.98 million target of April 2018, with a difference of Rs48.46 million or +13.03 percent.
Under head of sales tax levied as federal excise duty on palm oil, the Peshawar customs house collected Rs85.78 million against Rs98.83 million with a difference of minus Rs13.05 million or – 13.20 percent.
Under head of sales tax value addition on commercial importers, the Collectorate collected Rs63.11 million against Rs56.71 million of April 2018 with a difference of Rs6.40 million or 7.9 percent.
Likewise under head of Federal Excise Duty on import, the house collected Rs14.02 million against Rs19.73 million in April 2018 with a difference of Rs49.71 million or 21.53 percent.
Under head of withholding tax, the house collected Rs280.60 million in April 2019 against Rs230 million in April 2018 with a difference of Rs 49.71 million with a difference of 21.53 percent.
