FAISALABAD. Wang Zihai President Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) formally inaugurated Chinese Language courses in CPEC Cell of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI). He appreciated the efforts of the FCCI in general and specially the keen interest taken by Chairman CPEC Committee of the FCCI Engineer Ahmad Hassan and Director Research and Development M. D. Tahir, for launching Chinese Language Courses at FCCI.
He said that Pakistan China friendship is all weather friendship. No doubt it is higher than Himalaya and deeper than the sea but it is a hard fact that we failed to fully exploit its economic potential during the last 60 years. He said that according to his personal opinion, the main cause of it is language barrier. He said that Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) had taken a number of bold initiatives to promote Chinese language in order to bring the people and specially the business community of the two countries closer to each other. He said that PCJCCI has prepared special dictionary containing 10,000 Chinese frequently used words which will help people to directly interact and communicate with their Chinese brothers.
Earlier he visited the class of Chinese language where Mr. M. D. Tahir presented him welcome note in Chinese language which was much appreciated. He also thanked President Mr. Wang Zihai and Secretary General Salahuddin Hanif, PCJCCI for extending cooperation to launch the Chinese Course in FCCI successfully. He said that with the joint efforts of both the Chambers, hopefully we will attract maximum Chinese investors who will launch joint ventures with their Pakistani counterparts particularly in Faisalabad.
Later, Wang Zihai also presented First Edition of the English to Chinese & Urdu Dictionary published by PCJCCI.
