KARACHI: Abdul Rahim Janoo, Senior Vice President, FPCCI says that the Pakistani exporters are eyeing towards Bangladeshi market to enhance trade volume particularly the exporters.
In this regard, Saif-ur-Rehman, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh Wednesday visited Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and had a meeting with members of FPCCI. The meeting was chaired by Abdul Rahim Janoo, Senior Vice President, FPCCI.
While talking to Customs Today, Abdul Rahim Janoo said the main purpose of the meeting was to provide the trade opportunities to Pakistani exporters in terms of availing demand from Bangladesh Market.
He emphasized on the easy visa policy for Pakistani exporters, importers and exhibitors who are participating in Dhaka International Trade Fair – DITF and Chittagong International Trade Fair– CITF, whereas Pakistan’s Official Participations is being organized by FPCCI.
“FPCCI is looking for cooperation from the Bangladesh Diplomatic Mission in terms of smooth proceedings for participation from Pakistan by having ease in visa and custom policies”, he added.
Saif-ur-Rehman, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh assured the members of FPCCI that the exhibitors from FPCCI for DITF and CITF will be having no visa problem on the recommendation of FPCCI. He assured that his mission will cooperate in all aspects for Pakistani participation in said exhibitions.
