Pak rupee strengthens in open market

KARACHI: The Pakistan rupee Tuesday gained value against the US dollar in open market and remained firm in interbank.

As per the local money market, the greenback gained 15 paisas in open market for buying at 108.20 and for selling at 108.50. The dollar remained unchanged in interbank for buying at 105.30 and for selling at 105.50.

On Monday, the dollar gained Re1.15 in open market for buying at 108.35 and for selling at 108.65, while it remained firm in interbank for buying at 105.30 and for selling at 105.50.
