KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Friday recovered against the US currency both in open market and interbank after interference of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for resolving the currency depreciation issue.
As per the local money market, the greenback lost Rs1.50 in open market for buying at 106.50 and for selling at 106.80, while it shed 80 paisas in interbank for buying at 105.40 and for selling at 105.60.
On Thursday, the dollar gained Rs2.10 for selling at 108 and for selling at 108.30 in open market and lost Re1.5 for selling at 107.20 for buying and 107.40 for selling.
