Pak rupee gains value in open market

KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Monday gained some value against the US dollar in open market and remained unchanged in interbank.

As per the local money market, the US currency shed 80 paisas in open market for buying at Rs139.10 and 10 paisas for selling at Rs140.30, while it closed firm in interbank for buying at Rs138.50 and for selling at Rs139.

On Friday, the dollar added 10 paisas for buying at Rs139.90 and for selling at Rs140.40 in open market. In interbank, the greenback closed firm for buying at Rs138.50 and for selling at Rs139.
