KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Wednesday further depreciated against the US currency in open market and closed firm in interbank.
As per the local money market, the dollar gained 50 paisas to close at Rs124.90 for buying and 35 paisas for selling at Rs125.25 in cash ready market. The dollar remained unchanged in interbank and closed at Rs124.10 for buying and Rs124.30 for selling.
On Tuesday, the dollar gained 30 paisas in open market for buying at Rs124.40 and lost 10 paisas for selling at Rs124.90, while the dollar remained unchanged in interbank and closed at Rs124.10 for buying and Rs124.30 for selling.
