KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Monday witnessed mix trend against the US dollar and gained value in interbank, but depreciated in open market.
As per the local money market, the greenback lost 10 paisas in interbank for buying at Rs138.40 and for selling at Rs138.90. In open market, the dollar added 60 paisas for buying at Rs140 and for selling at Rs140.60.
On Friday, the US currency lost 10 paisas in interbank for buying at Rs138.50 and for selling at Rs139, while it shed 25 paisas in open market for buying at Rs139.50 and for selling at Rs140.
