KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Friday further depreciated against the US currency both in open market and interbank.
As per the local money market, the dollar lost 40 paisas in open market for buying at Rs124.70 and for selling at Rs125.25. The US currency also shed five paisas in interbank for buying at Rs121.45 and for selling at Rs121.65.
On Thursday, the greenback closed at Rs 124.30 for buying and Rs 124.85 for selling after adding five paisas in open market, while it closed firm in interbank for buying at Rs121.40 and for selling at Rs121.60.
