KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee closed lower against dollar in open market and remained unchanged in interbank.
As per the local money market, the greenback gained 10 paisas in open market for buying at Rs 124.30 and for selling at Rs 124.85, while it remained firm in interbank for buying at Rs 121.40 and for selling at Rs 121.60.
On Monday, in open market, the dollar remained dull in value against the domestic unit owing to lowering demand from corporate and private sector. The US dollar closed at Rs 124.20 for buying and Rs 124.75 for selling. It lost 50 paisas in the open market against the rupee. The dollar closed at Rs 121.40 for buying and Rs 121.60 for selling after shedding 10 paisas in interbank.
