KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Tuesday depreciated against dollar in interbank and strengthened in open market.
As per the local money market, the dollar gained 10 paisas in interbank to close at Rs 124 for buying and Rs 124.20 for selling. In open market, the greenback lost 50 paisas to close at Rs 122 for buying and Rs124 for selling.
On Monday, the US currency gained 50 paisas in open market for buying at Rs122.50 and for selling at Rs124.50, while it remained firm in interbank at Rs 123.90 for buying and Rs 124.10 for selling.
