KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Thursday closed flat in the interbank and lost strength in open market against the US dollar.
As per the local money market, the dollar closed dull in the open currency market by 15 paisas on insignificant demand. The greenback closed at Rs 111.60 for buying and Rs 111.90 for selling in the open market. The dollar remained unchanged to close at Rs 110.30 for buying and Rs 110.50 for selling in interbank compared to previous closing.
On Wednesday, the dollar lost five paisas in open market for buying at 111.45 and for selling at 111.75. It remained firm in interbank for buying at 110.30 and for selling at 110.50.
