Pak rupee closes firm in interbank

KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Thursday gained some value against the US currency in open market and remained firm in interbank.

As per the local money market, the dollar lost 30 paisas to close at Rs124.20 for buying and 50 paisas for selling at Rs125 in cash ready market. The dollar remained unchanged in interbank and closed at Rs124.10 for buying and Rs124.30 for selling.

On Wednesday, the dollar gained Re1 in open market for buying at Rs124.50 and for selling at Rs125.50, while the dollar remained unchanged in interbank and closed at Rs124.10 for buying and Rs124.30 for selling.
