KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Thursday closed firm against dollar in interbank, while it depreciated in open market.
As per the local money market, the dollar remained firm in interbank at Rs 124 for buying and Rs 124.20 for selling. In open market, the greenback gained 35 paisas to close at Rs 122.50 for buying and Rs124.25 for selling.
On Wednesday, the US currency gained 50 paisas in open market for buying at Rs122.15 and for selling at Rs123.90, while it remained firm in interbank at Rs 124 for buying and Rs 124.20 for selling.
