NEW YORK: Jane Paul has been named interim director by the Ozark Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors effective Nov.2.
Paul, co-owner of The Sound of Freedom Indoor Gun Range, will take a sabbatical from her position on the chamber’s board of directors while filling the role as interim director.
“I am well suited to be able to take the reins at the Ozark Chamber. This staff is hard working, and I look forward to the opportunity to step in and help maintain the high standards of the Ozark Chamber,” said Paul.
Board Chairman Devin Bobbett said they are working diligently to identify candidates for the executive director position.
“In the meantime we believe it would be beneficial to have an interim director in place to provide leadership for the chamber and to have continuity of the director’s duties and responsibilities,” he said.
Former Director Dori Grinder accepted a position with the Springfield Chamber.
Paul will maintain office hours at the chamber office for three to four hours per day, five days a week until a new executive director is in place.
