Over 235 kilograms (518 pounds) of marijuana was seized during anti-drug operations in northwestern Turkey’s Edirne province, according to a security source on Friday.
Police confiscated the marijuana in a truck at the Kapikule customs gate at Turkish-Bulgarian border, said the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Six suspects were remanded over trading drugs.
